Converting an existing Lite Licence to create a new Enterprise System
Converting from a Lite Licence to an Enterprise Licence is a free service that we offer. We can take one existing Project and upgrade it to create a new Enterprise Version.
Please note that we can only do this with one Lite Licence so if you are considering moving to Enterprise we highly recommend you do this before ordering a second Lite Licence. Please read below for an idea of the work involved with moving additional Lite versions into an existing Enterprise.
Converting an existing Lite Licence into an existing Enterprise System
The cost of migrating a current Project from a Lite Licence to an existing Enterprise is $2500 plus GST. To ensure consistency in the data of the Project during the migration, access to the Lite licence Project will be removed before the migration begins. The Enterprise system will have no downtime whilst the migration completes, and the migration will be organised at a time of your choosing (usually outside of business hours) and can take anywhere up to 5 hours.
It's important to note that following the migration of a Project into an existing Enterprise system, all of the framework and Team Members on the Project will be migrated regardless of if they are present in the Enterprise or not. The process copies the Project over exactly as it is including all Entities/Groups/Types.
Following the migration these are the steps that you should take to manage any duplicates and ensure your data is consistent.
1. Merge all duplicate stakeholders and properties. (You can find information on how to merge these entities here.)
2. Resolve all duplicate Types and Groups. For example you may have two event types named 'Email' so one of these should be deleted. To do this, each individual Event that has been allocated the second Event Type 'Email' will need to be changed over to the original. After the second 'Email' has no Events related, it can then be deleted.
3. This reallocation process will also need to be followed for all duplicate Team Members. (You can find information on how to merge duplicate Team Members here)
